It's my first time experiencing Europe in the wintertime and it has been a very pleasant surprise! I have loved experimenting with colours, textures, layering and silhouettes and I am leaving really inspired for the autumn/winter season ahead down under.
I managed to find this beautiful cropped leather jacket I have been eyeing since last winter on sale and I couldn't wait to style it up. The combination of the leather and preppy design create a beautiful balanced design and silhouette. The belt also adds a bit more edge and the crop is perfect with high waisted bottoms.
Dressing for the cooler weather, like I said, had me re-evaluating colour combinations and I think I FINALLY got over my aversion to combining black + brown and black + navy. This may not seem groundbreaking but I've gone my entire life not once wanting to break these fashion 'rules'. I never found the confidence to pair the colours in a slick and sophisticated way. But alas, here I am in this slick black outfit with a pop of brown melange!
Not only do I love the colour palette of this outfit, but also all the different textures and overall silhouette. You already know I am a sucker for leather and I love that I've been able to pair so many pieces together with the soft textures of the pant and jumper to balance it out. And to top it off, my latest bag addition - the Paris tote by Manu Atelier. A very modest-sized tote with edgy contrast stitching and a beautiful modern shape. You will be seeing a lot of it this year!
Lots of love from Paris! x
