Yep, you read that right - pjyamas that double as daywear! I have to say, one of the best trends over the last few years has been nightwear daywear. The summer weather here in Sydney has well and truly arrived after a number of seasonally ambiguous weeks (I'm keeping my knitwear out, juuuust in case), so I thought I would put together a little outfit inspo featuring some pieces from Project REM.
I'm trying to bring a little more purpose to my blog posts and sharing brands that have are more to them than just beautiful designs and pieces. As you may have noticed from recent posts and Instagram, I am feeling increasingly more inspired and passionate about sustainability in fashion and I am bursting with a lot of ideas for future blog posts. But today, I wanted to share a little something different (#notsponsored). Project REM not only have super cute pjyamas that double as daywear but they also product a bundle of sanitary products to women in need with every piece sold. Their primary focus is about women caring for women - which is certainly something we need more and more these days.
So, in support of their great cause, I wanted to share some outfit inspiration to show you how easy it is to make the pieces you have in your wardrobe (including nightwear). My first outfit features this gorgeous buttondown, that also comes with matching pants, which is so perfect for the warmer weather. I love the contrast between the more androgynous black jeans and the shirt and my trusty red handbag nicely tied in the colours of the shirt and solid black jeans. I love the effortlessness of the outfit and it was surprisingly very easy to put this one together!
The next outfit is not for the shy, but it was even easier to put together. The robe really does all the work for you, with the contrasting pink and red heart print and frill sleeves. I kept all the same gold accessories and again matched the red hearts to my red handbag, threw on some loafer slides to polish the look up a bit and voila, you've got one very cute outfit!
So if you are interested in grabbing any Project REM pieces, know that you'll be supporting other females in their basic needs!
