I think I've made a major wardrobe break through this year in terms of my wardrobe palette. For so many years, I've constantly ended up reverting back to black for the majority of the winter months and consequently my style becomes so incredibly boring and monotonous. I've been missing out on all the natural tones, like beige, salmon and tan! I think it's because I've never been a huge fan of brown and in my mind those tones were grouped in with that.
Don't get me wrong, I love wearing creams and whites in the winter time to brighten the mood, but whenever I wear anything white I am bound to spill something on it! These natural tones strike the perfect balance between creams / whites and greys / blacks. There is also such a huge variety of shades, so there's something for everyone. Shades also don't have to be exact to match, like the outfit in this blog post, where my turtle neck is more a salmon and the trousers, a light tan. I actually really love the different shades as it adds more dimension to the outfit. I am definitely looking to add more and more of these neutral tones to my wardrobe!
Anyways, I hope this inspires you guys a bit to update your winter wardrobe and hope you all had a lovely long weekend!
