The athleisure trend has stood the test of time and I've completely jumped on board.
I've been dying to show off my new love - this Reiss blazer. It's honestly been wildly too hot to wear so I'm praying for cooler days so I can live in it. I've really fallen in love with tailoring over the past few months, especially blazers. I feel an outfit is always in need of a top off with a classic black blazer.
This one is a little more of a hybrid, bordering on coat territory but in an equally classic herringbone pattern. I'm especially drawn to these more masculine shapes, as they just skim the body perfectly.
To try and slightly compensate the warmth of the blazer, I paired it with this fancy new crop top (because why not make the most of your active wear?). I've always loved the juxataposed pairing of classic tailoring with sportswear so the crop top and track pants finished off neatly with loafer slides made the perfect combo. The colours, textures and patterns just somehow worked and has completely converted me into choosing for sports luxe pieces to wear day to day! I would probably get used to this blazer though, I have a feeling it's going to be showing face a lot around here...
