New year, same me - just with a bit more panache to bring in the new year.
Just firstly wanted to say a very happy 2018 and a massive thank you to everyone who has supported my blog and myself over the past year. I took a bit of a break during December to spend quality time with friends and family and now I'm feeling more than ready to creating bigger and better content in 2018.

I have been loving everyone's reflections and highlights from 2017, so much so, I had to give it a go myself. I put together a little (it turned out rather large) highlight reel on my Instagram stories. Upon looking back, I had an incredible year, full of so many experiences and memories (good and bad). I did the most travelling I've ever done, finished my uni degree and started Honours, and I feel happier and luckier than ever to have the people I have in my life. And importantly, I launched this new site and I couldn't be prouder of the space I've created!
Naturally, I always feel massively motivated and inspired and full of cliches at this time of year. So, I am so excited to see how this space evolves with me as the year progresses. Last year ended with such an amazing shift in my creative head space, with the addition of film photography and series but also my blogging style becoming less minimal and boxed into a category - changes I could have never predicted at the beginning of 2017. My personality and style has always been a little bit of everything, so I'm hoping my blog will become a better reflection of that this year.
I also rediscovered how inspiring other bloggers are beyond their Instagram and other social media - much how it was at the beginning of blogging when I was 16 and I constantly read fashion blogs that inspired me. It is so easy to become enveloped into following 'rules' and creating content for the followers. I've still got a way to go, but I felt towards the end of 2017, that blogging was becoming more for me and those who supported me and much much less about the numbers. Obviously, I cannot thank you enough for those of you who visit here consistently and support everything that goes up here, but I'm hoping 2018 will even less about the numbers and more about creative content.
I've got some very snazzy content coming up for January and February so stay tuned for that!
