After the launch of my new site this year, naturally I've been especially inspired to create more exciting and different content. And at the same time, it has also been a year of discovering so many new brands. It can be super overwhelming to think about just how many brands there are out there and everyday I'm coming across new labels on Instagram (the beauty of social media huh?). There have been an array of brands I've fallen in love with this year, confirming what I knew I already loved as well as pushing me out of my comfort zone (Exhibit A & Exhibit B) so I thought it was time to share some of my favourite niche brands with you.
ONE // Reformation
This brand is a firm favourite amongst many bloggers, but if you haven't heard of them, then it is definitely one to check out. Not only do they provide ever-chic designs and beautiful imagery but Reformation also has a focus on sustainability. Brands like Reformation are revolutionsing the fashion industry, demonstrating that you don't have to sacrifice beautiful clothing in order to be sustainable. It will be hard to find reasons to not love Reformation.
TWO // Weekday
Weekday is my current favourite at the moment. I love the range of affordable jeans and knitwear they have at the moment (despite that it's spring down-under right now). The jeans featured in this post were my first denim purchase from Weekday and boy I am obsessed with them! They are a lovely thick non-stretch denim, made from organic cotton, very reminiscent of vintage jeans. I also love the straight shape, which adds the perfect masculine element to any outfit. I would hands down purchase more denim but I am also keen to pick up some knitwear!
THREE // Astley Clarke
This one is a fairly new discovery and I haven't managed to get my hands on any of Astley Clarke's beautiful jewels yet but it is safe to say a purchase will be happening in the near future. If you're a fan of brands like Monica Vinader, Sara and Sebastian, then Astley Clarke is definitely one to check out. What does set them a part from the brands alike is the range of modern and playful pieces as well as stunning classics - there is certainly something for everyone!

FOUR // MANU Atelier
My interest in handbags had a sudden peak this year and with that came the discovery of many niche brands. On my hunt, MANU Atelier was one that really stood out to me because of their unique designs and affordability. Their minimal branding and unique shapes were right up my alley. I've got my eye on one particular on, so hopefully it will be making an appearance on the blog very soon!
FIVE // Everlane
Everlane is the ultimate basics heaven! Honestly, all the basics you will ever need, Everlane has - and with amazing quality and affordable prices too! One thing I have learnt this year is that basics are not boring, but integral to your wardrobe - but searching for quality basics at reasonable prices can be a difficult task. The brand also prides itself on sustainability and so they are transparent with the materials they use so I never feel like the pieces are overpriced.
SIX // Kacey Devlin
I've been eyeing up the beautiful minimal designs of this brand this whole year and I finally took the plunge and bought one of their signature tees. I didn't really understand what I was paying the hefty price for until I felt it in my hands. This bamboo jersey tee feels like nothing I've ever owned before, it is so soft and silky and has a lovely weight to it. If you're in the market for more luxe basics (with a slight modern twist) then I would highly recommend Kacey Devlin!
Let me know what you're favourite brands are!
