Spring has sprung full force in Sydney and there's nothing like extreme temperatures to get you jumping out of your jeans and sweaters! There's also nothing like a breezy ruffle shirt dress and tying up your hair to get you through the sweaty weather. It's definitely no secret that I have an obsession with shirting especially when it comes in a dress form - and this C/MEO dress is nothing short of that! I love the way shirting falls onto the body, creating shape and texture without being skin tight. I've chosen to dress it down and show you how you can wear it more casually but this dress will totally impress for the spring racing season with little to zero effort. All you need if your trusty black heels and delicate headwear and you're set!
Let me also introduce you to my new kicks, the understated and simple Superga Cotu! I have to admit, I haven't really been into the whole trainer/sneaker trend but since starting my Honours year, I have found myself in search of more comfortable shoes especially for the warmer months. It's not to say that my boots aren't comfortable, but they aren't as efficient for running in and out of the lab. I wouldn't usually, but I picked these up in a canvas, and not a leather, because I have been really loving the high top look at the moment. I've been wearing my classic black high top Converse to death! The high top style is really flattering with all my cropped denim, that I've been obsessed with this year. In all honesty, there isn't much to them but that's why I love them - they are a no-brainer when it comes to picking outfits daily for uni!
